North Park Bible Church: a 60-year-old church, ready for today.
North Park Bible Church has served the North Hills of Pittsburgh since 1962, and much of its congregation is older. The church wanted its online presence to show that a long history doesn't mean being behind the times. That meant a new website, online giving, sermon video, and podcast feeds.

Where they started
The basics were spread out
Service times, directions, what to expect, and Sunday classes lived on four separate pages.
Every ministry had its own page
Small groups, NP Academy, and Women's Ministry each had a short page that ended with "contact the church office."
Sermons were file downloads
The Media section held uploaded audio files and PDFs of sermon notes, with no video and no podcast.
No way to give online
Giving happened by mail or in person only.
Before and after
The old site on the left, the new one on the right. Select any screenshot to see the whole page.
Homepage
The old homepage was a photo and a weekly schedule. The new one opens with the church's mission and two clear next steps: get connected or listen to a sermon.
Planning a visit
Service times, directions, and what to expect were on separate pages. Now the homepage answers all three in one place, with a button for directions.
Getting connected
Small groups, NP Academy, Women's Ministry, and Sunday School each had a page of their own. One Connect page now covers every ministry and ends with a form.
About the church
Welcome, beliefs, history, and the pastor's bio were four separate pages. The new About page brings beliefs, leadership, and the elder board together.
Events
An embedded Google Calendar cut event names off mid-word. The new Events page has a calendar built into the site's own design.
Sermons
The old Media section was a list of audio files and PDF notes. The new archive has video, and every sermon also goes out as a podcast.
Giving
North Park had no way to give online. The new Give page offers online giving alongside mail and in-person options.
